With our 4 Day Plan, you will receive four cartons (one for each day) each filled with six individual sachets of mBIOTA Elemental™ diet powder. Each sachet mixes easily with 10 oz water for a 300kcal serving. The typical day consists of six shakes for 1800 calories, however consult with your health care provider for your personalized recommended daily intake. mBIOTA Elemental™ is a medical food and should be taken under medical supervision.

Please note: Elemental Diets are not recommended for patients with Diabetes, Pre-diabetes or a history of unstable blood sugars. Please consult your physician if you have a blood sugar condition. Q: Do you offer samples of the flavors?

A: Samples of mBIOTA Elemental™ are available through healthcare providers only. If your healthcare provider does not currently have samples available, please let us know and we can send them a sample kit.

Q: Does mBIOTA Elemental really taste better?

A: We are proud to say that it really does. Creating a drinkable/palatable elemental diet was the founding mission of our company. Even more, in a clinical trial in 2023 at Cedars Sinai Los Angeles, patients overwhelmingly preferred mBIOTA Elemental diet over the market leading competitor across all six taste metrics - taste, smell, consistency, afteratse, appearance and overall impression.

Q: How would you describe your flavors?

A: Original tastes like tropical vanilla i.e. vanilla with a hint of coconut and orange reminds us of a Creamsicle popsicle.

Q: During the one week can I eat or drink anything besides the elemental diet shakes?

A: Always consult with your health care provider before beginning any elemental diet as your nutritional needs may vary, however during a typical elemental diet no additional foods or liquids (aside from water) are consumed in order to allow your system to rest and reset. mBIOTA Elemental™ is designed to deliver all your necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients and serve as your sole source of nutrition.

Q: Can I mix mBIOTA Elemental™ powder with anything other than water?

A: No. It is not recommended to introduce any other liquids as they can interfere with the effectiveness of an elemental diet. You can however use crushed ice to change up the texture.

Q: How long can I do the mBIOTA Elemental™ diet?

A: The most typical time period for clinical use is 2-3 weeks depending on your doctor's recommendation. Under medical supervision, mBIOTA Elemental™ can act as your sole source of nutrition for up to 4 weeks.

Q: Is mBIOTA Elemental™ safe for children?

A: No. mBIOTA Elemental™ is not designed for use in children under the age of 12 unless specifically advised by your health care professional.

Q: Do I need a prescription for mBIOTA Elemental™ diet?

A: No. mBIOTA Elemental™ diet is a medical food and does not require a prescription but should be taken under medical supervision.

Q: Can I use mBIOTA Elemental™ while pregnant, nursing, or on medications?

A: mBIOTA Elemental™ is not intended for use while pregnant or nursing. Please consult with your physician about any medications you may be taking while using an elemental diet.

Q: How is the mBIOTA Elemental™ 4 Day Plan packaged?

A: You will receive one shipping case. Inside the case you will find 4 cartons, each filled with 6 sachets of our elemental diet powder and a Welcome Guide. Our single serving sachets are easy to grab and go and each serving provides 300kcal when mixed with 10 oz of water.
