After using Vivonex Plus for ten years, switching to mBiota was an easy transition. My GI doc explained the improvements in the formula that makes it more effective as well as more pleasant to use. Currently mBiota is maintaining my weight and nutrition while allowing a very irritated small intestine to repair and rest with no negative side effects that can occur with even the best of prescription drugs. I know I can depend on the elemental diet to support healing in other situations, like after surgery or dealing with a virus, now that I have it as one of my health maintenance tools.

This was my first elemental diet, after multiple rounds of antibiotics that were unsuccessful. I read a lot about elemental diets and the stories of people quitting, but with the clinical trials and Dr. Pimentel’s name behind this product I decided to take it. I successfully finished 14 days, and feel far better afterwards. My IBS-D SIBO symptoms are gone, some mild bloating remaining but am working on motility as my next step in this journey. I highly recommend this product if antibiotics aren’t helping you. The instructions were clear. The included water bottle for mixing/drinking was perfect. But, I preferred to blend elemental diet in blender with ice to make it more palatable. I used the water bottle when on the go. I've also tried other sample packets of other brands. The mBIOTA was definitely the best tasting one.

Taste is not bad! This is saying a lot for elemental diets. I will be able to do this.

I highly recommend MBIOTA elemental diet to any person suffering with SIBO/IBS. I have a sever case of methane dominate SIBO. I’ve tried everything to resolve it…antibiotics, probiotics, etc …with some relief from those therapeutics. After being on the MBIOTA elemental diet for 17 days my symptoms finally resolved. It was the fastest therapeutic at killing my SIBO and reliving the gas, bloating, pain and constipation. It was a game changer at eliminating my SIBO. This stuff works. The elemental diet comes in 2 flavors I chose orange 1 week and vanilla the following week. The shakes taste decent for an elemental diet, but by day 14 I it was hard to drink. But MBIOTA is the best tasting elemental diet I have used. The other plus is you don’t need a prescription - making it much easier to obtain with no effort. Anybody who’s tried all other therapeutics and nothing has helped. Please give the MBIOTA elemental diet a try. It will change your life if you are suffering.

It was much easier to consume the mBIOTA drink than the previous elemental diet I had been on. The flavor was much more enjoyable. When instructed to consume over a 20+ minute time period it wasn’t a problem.

Definitely improved my issues with constipation. I just order another round of MBiota as I am severely constipated again and will try to reset my stomach.

This powder is great. I bought the mixed flavours option. The orange one taste a lot better. It tastes like an unsweetened orange sports drink. I like that the portions are all individually wrapped. The costumer service was also excellent. They helped me with some shipping issues that my carrier had.

It didn’t resolve my digestive issues, but the product itself is perfect.

I previously tried 4 rounds of antibiotics and never had any good results. I did the mBIOTA diet and when I breath tested on day 14 my numbers were at ZERO! I finally have MUCH needed relief.

Really reduced my bloating and gas symptoms. I felt so much better while on the mBIOTA diet. I prefer the Original flavor, but both flavors were great.

Worked way better than expected. Cleared SIBO and I got a bunch of other benefits like energy, 7 pounds of weight loss and I felt better. During it, I wasn’t hungry at all as long as I made sure I had one every 3-3.5 hours. Interestingly, the taste got better and better.

I’m happy to report I made it to day 14! My symptoms got much better after the first few days, and thanks to the taste of the shakes I was able to drink them with no problem and did not feel hungry.

I have had do to many bouts of elemental diets over the years. Before using mBiota I used Vivonex. I have found mBiota to relieve my constipation symptoms more quickly (meaning after only two weeks of using the elemental diet). I am however hungrier on this diet than on Vivonex.
